The Chouquettes

In the old days French restaurants usually opened late. So in the waiting of being satiated  children like adults often ate chouquettes to prevent them from hypoglycemia. Today chouquettes haven’t lost their fame and are still eaten at any time of the day. 

Like all our products, our chouquettes are prepared in Gelpat’s laboratory according to the traditional recipe with carefully selected ingredients. Therefore, they distinguish themselves by their simplicity with only four ingredients: flour, butter, water and eggs that constitute the choux dough before being sprinkled with very coarse sugar.

Our artisanal know-how guarantees an authentic flavor and aspect in the respect of the strictest sanitary standards. We deep freeze our chouquettes at -30°C to ensure artisans with an adapted shelf-life.
